Last week, I was suffering from a bad case of the winter blahs, so I decided to force the issue and bring a little bit of early spring into my house. I walked into my garden and snipped twigs from all sorts of trees and shrubs; I stuck them in jars of water and let them sit in my laundry room, which gets no direct sunshine and is under heated. A week has passed, and some of the twigs are already showing change as you can see in the photo above of a Pin Cherry twig. I will keep you updated as they develop over the next few weeks!
